The Gen6 touch controller platform is the latest generation ASIC from Cirque. Featuring an all-new analog sensing system and powerful multi-core architecture, Gen6 makes possible advanced functionality for future UX applications.
Multi-core Architecture
A modern and fast 32-bit RISC CPU combined with an analog co-processor core enables next generation touchpad applications and future innovation.
Self / Mutual Cap Support
The new analog front end in Gen6 supports both self and mutual capacitive sensing. This opens to door to proximity sensing applications and enhanced noise avoidance.
Programmable RX/TX
With Gen6 any transmit electrode can be swapped with a receive and vice versa. This makes chip placement more flexible for complicated PCB designs.
Available in two packages, the Gen6 QFN64 ASIC is ideal for high performance trackpads and touch screens, while the compact Gen6s QFN42 is perfect for game controllers, headphones and other small touch input applications.
